That shit was happening right as I was finally sobering up from a trip and for awhile I genuinely thought it was a hallucination because my mind justified 'theres no way something that retarded could happen' only for my girlfriend to wake me up and show me some news article. It's kinda surreal but I also welcome it? I have a small account and haven't been uploading stuff for a good bit and I mostly just wanna focus on Patreon and Tumblr, these forums, and upgrading my personal site. Apparently tweets are called xeets now and they want to make it a PayPal competitor too? Seems absolutely idiotic

I'm honestly still seeing pretty decent activity on Tumblr, it's just some of the recent tweaks and fixes that are annoying people who were included in the betas. I'm waiting to see if they're going to walk back on some of them. I honestly prefer this forum just as a more low-stakes place for interaction, but I need to update my site too.

yea tumblr is pretty active especially now that ppl are fleeing twatter, by dying i mean they keep makin those tweaks that always make the site worse n even if only some of them stick around the site is only gonna get shitter because literally none of the changes they make are good, also not great seeing some of the "bugs" disproportionately affect trans ppl, also id like to not have to scour in the shadows to find porn/nsfw

i wanna join a more active forum, ideally with a similar vibe to the problematic tranny community on tumblr, i was thinkin of makin my own website but its too much work so findin one is the way for me

i still havent given up on the dream of making this place actually active and usable. i might have to recruit some more of my friends on here eventually... forums are such a good format for interaction, i want this to work really bad!!

there's already a fix for it using a firefox browser extension so yaay firefox keeps winning but i think the aarms race between big corps and their userbase fixing their problems is funny

i use vivaldi n have xkit installed plus im running a script which fixes it, but im just tired of the constant need to fix that piece of shit website when even with the fixes its still slowly getting worse, so while im not gonna actively look rn, im definitely moving to something better at some point
